Unfortunately Waterlinks was unsuccessful in reaching the final bis on TV in December 2007. However WaterLinks aims to untap the huge potential within our waterway and river network; linking urban and rural communities with new access routes, providing new opportunities for recreation, sports, education and business, developing iconic new buildings and bridges, recreating ancient heritage sites, restoring hydropower mills and derelict industrial sites, and helping people to tackle climate change and reduce flood risk.

www.newtbeerfest.com      NEWT 2008 - Now in its 17th year.  The Newt 2008 is over the weekend of Friday 11th July and Saturday 12th July.  The Newt Beer and Music Festival is organised to raise funds for North Newton Community Primary School.  An event not to be missed.
